My sister, Nicole, and I are are both pregnant and due only 9 days apart. Since we had a big gender reveal party for our first, Sean and I decided to find out at our anatomy scan appointment alone this time. But my sister wanted an ice cream themed gender reveal party for their first baby, and I can’t pass up an opportunity to put together a cute theme like that!

The party was the day after our anatomy scan, so we decided to tell our families the gender of our baby right before the party started with SJ’s favorite treat—cake pops. Luckily, I found Icing on the Cake, who could do them on less than 24 hours notice. They looked perfect and were delicious, and everyone was excited to find out that we’re expecting another sweet baby BOY this time around. 💙

But back to Nicole’s party—it turned out so cute! I ordered printables from Simply Modern Design on Etsy that fit the theme perfectly, and then found these adorable napkins to match. She got cookies from our all-time favorite cookie baker in Pittsburgh, Woodland Cookie Co., and as usual, they turned out even better than expected. She makes chocolate cutouts cookies, which is hard to find, and they are SO good. Not too big, not too hard, just the perfect decorated cookie—highly recommend for any parties and events!!

The of course, what’s an ice cream party without an ice cream station? My mother-in-law had this adorable topping holder that we borrowed for all of the treats to put on sundaes. We’re big Ghirardelli’s fans, so I got their sauces and then some of our favorite toppings! Plus, how cute is this little ice cream truck and the pink and blue ice cream bowls?

And the main event—reveal time. Nicole’s husband, Troy, wanted a boy so badly that Sean and I were convinced they would have a girl, but we were wrong!! Adding another BOY to the crew! This life will surely be crazy with three little boys 2 and under, but it will be so much fun to raise three little besties! We can’t wait! 💙
